April Success Story: Julie and Peaches
Jonathan – I am proud to say that Peaches just celebrated her 1st birthday!!
At the tender age of 7mo. the shelter had her slated for death as unadoptable, but I convinced them to let me take her. Dominance and control did nothing but increase her unruly behavior, and when the world said she was hopelessly untrainable,… you gave us hope. At your class we learned to focus on the successes and to take it at our own pace. We replace any unwanted behaviors with chosen tasks and the effects of positive reinforcement have led us to new heights. She amazes me each day with her incredible intelligence and willingness to learn. Her abilities are limitless! We both have fun working together and she is so proud when she learns something new, she’s becoming somewhat of a showoff! Sure, she still has a lot of room for improvement but learning to communicate was 1/2 the battle. Hope to see you soon. Julie and Peaches
